Living in the south, it is common to drive down a suburban street and see flags hanging from the columns of the houses. My family decided we wanted a flag to hang as well. At first, we were not sure which kind of flag we wanted to hang. We looked around at flea markets and thrift stores and saw American Flags, our state flag and Christian flags, but not much else.
We purchased the American Flag and hung it in front of our home, but it seemed unbalanced. We wanted more choices than available to us locally. Checking online for flags, we discovered a banner company that could create the flag of our choice. The banner company didn't have any limitations on size or color.
We decided to create one flag that had our family surname in large print and our first names in smaller print around it. We added a family photo above our surname and used colors to coordinate with our home. We then created a flag that was a combination of flags. We put the American flag next to the state flag. Underneath we added the Christian flag and our new family flag. We cut the four combination flag into the same size as our family flag. The banner company delivered quality work and didn't take a lot of time. Now anyone can find our home once they get to our street. The two flags the banner company produced look wonderful.
